Brent, CEO / CTO
Brent started Big B Creations in 1998 having already built several websites and being the “friends and family” on call tech support for many years. Since the early 1980s, Brent has been living, eating and breathing computers. The bug caught hold of Brent as a kid when the Atari was replaced by a TRS-80 personal computer. The key was being able to make the machine ‘do’ something. Instead of playing out the roles presented in a game - Brent was off creating his own games. Since that time Brent became fascinated by the Internet and website development in the early 1990s. Brent's background helped to develop early websites in an age where the Internet and computers accessing it had limited capabilities. This passion continues to evolve to this day through Big B Creations and our great team of professionals.
Teri, Accounting
Teri joined Big B Creations in it's infancy and is an invaluable asset to Big B Creations. Teri's aptitude with numbers and spreadsheets has proven to be crucial in managing the health of Big B Creations. Teri's always sunny disposition and knack with the cooking skills have given rise to her general popularity in an otherwise stoic and unrewarding position.
Scott, Business Development Manager
Scott joined Big B Creations in 2006 to provide a communications portal, facilitate Client needs and develop stronger relationships with potential and existing Clients. Scott has utilized his education in communication and his ability to understand BBC Client's technical needs to bring about improved Client satisfaction and improved direction for Client Project Management.
Petra, Creative Art Director
Petra originally started as a contractor with Big B Creations, while she was finishing her degree in Interactive Media Design with The Art Institute of Portland. It has been exciting to work with Petra and experience the benefits of her education and her drive for quality. Petra prides herself in her work and has the talent to deliver results. Having graduated, Big B Creations welcomes Petra to the team as our web interface developer with emphasis on web standards, accessibility and search engine optimization.
Christine, Designer
Christine has been a top designer with Big B Creations for many years. Her talent and straight forward approach to creating a special look and feel for each individual client are crucial to the overall success of our projects. Christine's Mother witnessed her talent early on in childhood and knew that art would be a part of Christine's life. Today Christine uses her talent to create compelling Web, Identity, Print and Video productions.
Jerel, Network Operations
With deep understanding of Network Operations, Routers, Firewalls and Internet Servers and technology, Big B Creations is fortunate to have Jerel on the team. Jerel became involved with Big B Creations by managing our Data Center facilities and Co Located equipment. Jerel's aptitude with Internet Technology has been crucial in identifying, implementing and supporting the NOC, Firewalls, Web and Email Servers and generally keeping the Ping alive. Jerel rounds out the Big B Creations skill set with strong Linux skills & a little PHP in addition to IP Routing and security.
Alan, Server / Systems Engineer
Microsoft Works... oh, sure it does. Alan has extensive training and education in Server / Systems Engineering. With a strong foundation in server and network technology, Alan is able to structure systems to communicate and work the way the marketing folks said they could. The depth of Alan's knowledge allows troubleshooting and resolution to happen quickly providing rapid response and experienced guidance for best practices.
Rutherford, Programmer / Systems Engineer
We met Rutherford when supporting the programming team on a project for EPSON a few years back. Rutherford's education in Systems Engineering was demonstrated by easily resolving communications issues between development equipment, live hosting systems and the development team on the project. As Big B Creations learned more about the programming interests and aptitude Rutherford possessed, we were able to bring Rutherford closer into the team on our largest web applications. Rutherford's early involvement played a directional role in Big B Creations' choice to support Microsoft C# over VB, which has proven it's value many times.
Michal, Programmer
One of our first programmers, Michal came to work with Big B Creations and helped to develop some of our first database driven and eCommerce web applications. Michal worked with Big B Creations on our ColdFusion and eventually ASP.NET programming projects. Michal's excellent Project Management and programming aptitude are backed up by his reliability and follow through. Michal's commitment to staying current with technology brings value to the projects he is working with.
Robert, Programmer
Robert came to work with Big B Creations in 2006 and immediately took on a very large project we were engaged with. He was quickly able to grasp the scale of the system and get up and working on task requirements within a couple of days. Robert played a key role in delivering several major upgrade implementations in a very short turnaround. Big B Creations is happy to continue the successful working relationship on other large and complex programming projects.
Paul, Programmer
Paul was brought in to help with overflow in mid 2005. Paul helped to develop a Big B Custom Shopping Cart solution from the ground up based on ASP.NET 2.0/C# and SQL Server 2005. The Solution was successfully deployed on time and on budget which to this day has provided the Client with a quick ROI and an ongoing profitable revenue stream.
