Job Description: Big B Creations has an immediate opening for a talented .NET web application developer. You will: Work on multiple projects of moderate to complex requirements. Coordinate with Big B management and design team to produce web applications, eCommerce sites & integrate with client or other 3rd party solutions into applications. Support Big B systems where applications are developed and hosted.

Responsibilities: The .Net Programmer functions as a mid-level technician working on moderate to complex work requests according to a set of requirements and functional specifications. As a member of the project team, the .Net programmer is responsible for application design/analysis, developing project plans, coding, testing, commenting all code, maintaining and upgrading existing applications, as well as integrate third party solutions, such as web payments, web services, etc. into solution. This individual also interfaces with the customer to assist in the implementation of work requests & provide knowledge transfer/documentation to BBC‘s staff.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience working on ASP.NET solutions in commercial applications
  • Experience with secure coding principles & practices.
  • Familiarity with IDEs & tools including Visual Studio & Visual Source Safe.
  • Database development experience with SQL Server
  • Experience developing in C#, .NET, XML, HTML, Javascript
  • Familiarity with MSF design and methodology for coding & testing, user acceptance testing and structured migration to production within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with object oriented and component based programming.
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Stored Procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills both verbal and written.
