Client: DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital
Project Overview: Website rescue to take on existing design and website in need of completion and cleanup.
Challenge: After identifying existing and desired functionality in the previous site, a plan to add a shopping cart solution and rebuild using current technology and security was started.
Responsibilities: Our first task was to obtain the code and database to use as a base for the new website. The previous website used PHP & MySQL and was setup on Big B Creations servers while the new site was built using ASP.NET 2.0, SQL Server 2005.
Once the new structure of the website was developed, Big B Creations began reprogramming the Lost and Found pets database system and provide extended functionality and ease of maintenance.
To help DoveLewis complete the secure ecommerce shopping cart, Big B Creations programming team set out and created a custom, portable shopping cart system which was built from scratch according to Big B standards of code and security.
Since launching the shopping cart and improved functionality of the Lost and Found database, the website has returned on investment several times over. As the website has evolved, it has caught the attention of public and DoveLewis administrative staff alike. Big B Creations is proud to be involved and support DoveLewis in their efforts to provide emergency and intensive care to our animal friends in need.
