This filter blocks virtually all SPAM, and in doing so, also eliminates many potential viruses that could be contracted through E-mail.
Messages are identified as SPAM based on a scoring process. Users are able to vote on messages received as being SPAM or not SPAM, thereby teaching the system to be more intelligent at filtering out unwanted messages and keeping valid messages. Messages marked as SPAM are stored in a trap for 30 days to prevent valid messages from being deleted. Voting on Non-SPAM messages also improves the systems effectiveness. A user name and password will be provided to allow access to the voting website.
