>>Secure Log In

Allows Big B Creations to enhance security on the E-mail system by encrypting mailbox passwords (including NT user passwords) using the secure APOP , AUTH , AUTHORIZE or SPA protocols, which are all supported by MailSite.

Our POP3 E-mail access (Typically Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Outlook Express) require SMTP Authentication to protect against relay and SPAM so your mailbox will continue to be highly available to you.

The Big B Webmail interface provides you with access to your mailbox through a web browser from any computer on the Internet. This allows you to send and receive E-mail even if you are away from your own computer.

Big B Webmail interface provides you with a comprehensive address book to allow for easily accessible information about your clients, friends, and family.

Individuals: Add entry information for individuals

  • Enter individual's name, nickname, and E-mail addresses
  • Enter individual's Home address, business address and info, and contact phone numbers
  • Enter notes about the individual

Groups: Add entry information for groups, such as company employees or family members

  • Enter all of a companies E-mail addresses into one group so a single E-mail can be sent to all E-mail addresses from the group name
  • Filter groups under categories, such as Preferred Senders, BlackList, or WhiteList

Big B Webmail interface provides you with a means to view previous E-mails specified folders.

  • View deleted E-mails in a Deleted Items Folder

  • Allows you to create and name folders that the you can save E-mails into for future viewing

Big B Webmail interface allows you to view and enter appointments and other necessary information in an online calendar based planner.

  • Choose your calendar planner as either daily, weekly, or yearly
  • Switch the calendar portion by month and year
  • Add an appointment via the Quick Add feature
  • View any tasks that where entered by title and due date

Big B Webmail interface allows you to view tasks to to completed.

  • Choose the type of tasks to view in the Task List (All Tasks, Incomplete, Complete, In Progress)

Mailsite Also allows you to add new tasks to the Task List.

  • Enter task title, and due date
  • Prioritize the task by a level
    • Levels 1 - 5
  • Choose a status for the task
    • Incomplete, In Progress, or Complete

>> Wireless Notifications

MailSite includes push E-mail functionality that enables subscribers to receive notification of important messages via SMS to a cell phone. Push E-mail is integrated with MailSite's powerful sieve filter implementation meaning that the subscriber can determine which messages are to be forwarded to your cell phone. Support for the major cellular carriers using your SMTP to SMS gateway is included as standard.

General: Customize the appearance and operation of your E-mail account.

    • Each MailSite mailbox includes an optional auto-reply message, which defines a response that should be automatically sent to each you who sends a mail to the mailbox. You can use the auto-reply feature to create mailboxes dedicated to providing frequently requested information, such as product literature, newsletters, and product support assistance. Your can also make use the auto-reply feature to set up an automatic response for when you are away from the office and unable to receive E-mail.

Compose: Customize the compose and spell check settings for this account.

Calendar: Customize the appearance and operation of your calendar.

  • Choose the default view for the calendar (Day, Week, or Month)

Spell Checker: Customize the operation of the spell checker.

  • Configure spell checker to ignore words, case letters, capitalized letters
  • Select the language type to check messages with
  • Add words into a personal dictionary box

Filters: Create filters to handle incoming messages.

  • Name a create and name a filter
  • Apply filter rules based on information you inputs
  • Select a type of action that the filter applies depending on the filter information

Enhanced Server Side Functionality In Big B Webmail interface

>> Anti-SPAM Protection

MailSite's Anti-SPAM policies allow you to block mail from specific Hosts or users, and include the following options:

Big B Creations uses RBL Lists to block mail from BlackListed Hosts. Sources of high-volume SPAM are tracked by BlackList services, which provide lists of sites that have been responsible for such mailings. MailSite allows us to block all messages from Hosts named by a BlackList service.

>> Anti-Virus Protection

The Big B Creations Anti-Virus protection has been moved to the SonicWALL Pro 3060 firewall. Real-Time Gateway Anti-Virus, Anti-Adware and Intrusion Prevention. The PRO 3060 extends security from the network core to the perimeter by integrating support for SonicWALL's Gateway Anti-Virus, Anti-Adware and Intrusion Prevention Service, delivering real-time protection against the latest blended threats, including viruses, Adware, worms, Trojans, software vulnerabilities and other malicious code. This firewall protects our website Hosting, E-mail servers and Domain systems.

It is important to note that keeping an updated Anti-Virus program such as Norton Anti-Virus is critical as viruses can come from multiple sources.

>> E-mail Aliases

Big B Webmail interface also allows for an alias such as info@yourcompany.com to be setup very easily. Messages to these pseudo E-mail accounts are automatically forwarded to one of your standard E-mail accounts for processing. This allows you to pre-organize your incoming mail and provide anonymity for your personnel (i.e. 'webmaster' instead of 'Bob', 'billing' instead of 'Julie'). Alias' are included at no charge.

>> Enhanced Security

Internet messaging protocols depend on messages, you names, and passwords that are mostly transmitted in clear text over TCP/IP connections. Without special configuration, the SMTP protocol allows unscrupulous Internet users to illegally relay messages through your server or send messages in bulk to mailboxes on your server. This allows us as the administrator of this system, to be aware of these security issues. This knowledge will help Big B Creations set acceptable security policies for the site and configure the MailSite server accordingly.

>> Mail Filters

MailSite includes support for mail filters. Filters are rules for mail handling that allow you to specify that messages should be handled in special ways - for instance, forwarded to a specific E-mail address, saved to the file system, or rejected - based on characteristics of the message. Filters are especially useful for identifying messages that may be dangerous or inappropriate and preventing them from entering your system.

>> SPAM Scanning

Big B Creations Anti-SPAM Filter server is based on the industry-leading enterprise Anti-SPAM solution CanIt-PRO enables Big B Creations to configure global mail filtering policies, then delegate SPAM management to individual clients who desire enhanced SPAM filtering. Users can choose to merely tag SPAM, to opt out of SPAM scanning completely, or to take full control over SPAM scanning with WhiteLists, BlackLists, greylists and custom rules. All user interaction is through a simple, web-based interface.

>> Performance Monitoring & Logging

The MailSite Engine is fully integrated with the performance monitoring and security features of Windows 2000/2003. All Engine services can be monitored with the Performance Monitor for tracking information such as number of active connections, amount of message data received, and number of failed POP/IMAP logins.

MailSite includes flexible logging options that support extensive message tracking and error detection information. We can direct logging information to a file, to a database, and to the NT Event Viewer.

>> Integrated List Server

MailSite includes a list server, which allows groups of people - such as employees, customers, and discussion groups - to easily exchange messages. A message sent to a mail list is quickly broadcast to all of its members, allowing users to distribute mail to multiple users by sending it to one E-mail address. MailSite's comprehensive list server features include multiple moderators, E-mail moderation, E-mail subscription, message size limitation, digest distributions, configurable welcome and goodbye messages, web-based message archiving, and powerful header editing macros.
